| NOV 2013 - TO OUTCOMPETE YOU MUST OUT-COMPUTE !
To remain competitive and boost product innovation and performance, computational simulations are nowadays essential. Moreover, when simulations are run on supercomputers, CFD capabilities are increased, leading to reduced engineering costs and time to market. Supercomputing or High performance Computing (HPC) is no longer reserved to big companies or government bodies, but is easily and cost effectively accessible on the Cloud as as Service.

| OCT 2013 - DISCOVER OUR NEW CASE STUDY - SNCF
Helping France's national railway company SNCF to improve passenger comfort : optimising ventilation ducting in high speed trains. Building on its experience with previous successful modelling thermal comfort projects, Renuda simulated and tested several configurations and identified an optimised solution which would improve SNCF passengers' comfort.
"FIVE COMPANIES BID FOR THIS PROJECT. WE CHOSE RENUDA BECAUSE OF THEIR EXPERTISE AND RELEVANT PROPOSITION. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE RENUDA AGAIN." Sandrine Ségrétain, Project Manager in Comfort Research, SNCF

| AUG 2013 - OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE (OSS) : RELIABLE, POWERFUL AND FREE
Renuda delivers training, tutorials and support services on Open Source codes. Specifically, Renuda is currently creating a series of tutorials on behalf of the energy group EDF with the first tutorials for, starting with cavity and heated cavity flows:
Renuda’s expertise and skills in Open Source Software (OSS) developments can help you in OSS chain development providing you with cost - effective solutions and high performance products. For more information, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
| JULY 2013 - DISCOVER OUR NEW CASE STUDY - DANFOSS
Helping Danfoss to reduce energy waste : modelling unsteady scroll compressor flow. Having worked successfully with Danfoss on previous internal flow projects, Renuda implemented and validated a simplified approach which makes possible to examine Intermediate Discharge Port (IDP) on different compressor types, avoiding complex and costly simulations.
"THIS PROJECT REQUIRED A NEW APPROACH TO CFD. THAT'S WHY WE CHOSE RENUDA - I WAS CONFIDENT THAT THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE COULD OPTIMISE THE SOLUTION." Pierre Ginies, Technology Manager - Danfoss Commercial.
| JULY 2013 - RENUDA APPLY THEIR CFD EXPERIENCE TO VEHICLE COMFORT.
Renuda’s thermal comfort expertise featured by the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) :please click here to view the article.
| JUNE 2013 - WHEN COMPRESSING COSTS LEADS TO ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Working in collaboration with Danfoss Commercial Compressors, Renuda has developed an efficient CFD model for modelling the impact of intermediate discharge port (IDP) on scroll compressor performance using ANSYS Fluent. The CFD results indicated that an IDP can help reduce the energy consumption of a typical scroll by 9%.
Renuda will present this work at the "International Conference on Compressors and their Systems" on the 9th September 2013 at City University in London: http://www.city.ac.uk/compressorsconference. Come along and talk to us in Session 3 CG02 to see how Renuda can help you reduce costs and improve product performance using CFD. If you would like to arrange a meeting with us, do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com.

| MAR 2013 – OPEN SOURCE CODE - SAVE ON PROJECT COSTS
The use of CFD in Industry is dominated by commercial codes. However, the current requirement to solve ever larger and more complex problems can result in significant increases in software costs.
Open source CFD directly eliminates this software cost. In close collaboration with ALSTOM Transport, RENUDA has successfully tested and validated open source calculation chains, CAD -> Meshing -> Simulation -> Analysis, for thermal comfort.
This test and validation program has clearly demonstrated that open source chains using the Code_Saturne or OpenFOAM® CFD solvers can be used efficiently in an industrial environment for a fraction of the cost.
